Selected images are digitally enhanced to simulate brush strokes which closely mimic watercolors or oils for printing as limited edition giclees on fine art papers.

The Downstairs Gallery opened in late November 2009.  It is located under the clocktower at Meta Rose Square in Wasilla, Alaska.  It is operated exclusively by and for Alaska Fine Art & Photography.  The collection currently ranges from 24 x 36 gallery wraps to small table-top items.  Special orders from this website can be purchased and picked up at the Downstairs Gallery.  Contact the artist to make arrangements.

Cooper Landing is 100 miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula.  It is a scenic gem set between majestic peaks where the famed Kenai River flows out of Kenai Lake. 

I have tried to keep digital editing to a minimum.  However, I
make no apologies for removing unsightly distractions such as
litter or severe lens flare. 

Inexpensive 8.5 x 11 flexible magnets for refrigerators and file cabinets.  They can be printed without "Alaska" on the image and can be displayed singly or as tiles. 

Editing is limited only by my imagination.  Using only the digital material in the original photo, I may literally move mountains or create new flowers out of individual blossoms from many different plants.  The end product is a sharp glossy digital image of an idealized scene or subject that is as aesthetically pleasing as I can make it.

I am constantly experimenting with new products and mat combinations.
